Morrow Snowboards is a manufacturer of boards, bindings and boots, recognizable for those who have been riding for a while as it was a popular and quality brand in the early and mid 1990s. It was founded in 1989 by Neil Morrow and his cousin, Robert Morrow, a former junior world snowboard champion. Throughout the next decade, Morrow came out with a variety of boards that introduced functional new technology to the snowboarding world. In 1999, Morrow was sold to K2, which still owns the company today, and has been revamped into an inexpensive brand aimed at beginners. Production has moved from Oregon to K2's Washington facility.
Morrow's snowboard line is divided into the Men's Directional, which are essentially all-mountain boards designed for a versatile ride; Men's Sidewall, which is all mountain or freestyle; Men's Team, which consists of two boards, the Hemisphere for powder riding and the Twin; and the Women's Directional and Women's Sidewall. They also have several kids boards. Some of Morrow's top snowboards are the Lithium, Radium, Blaze, Wildflower and the Morrow RV. In addition to snowboards, Morrow also offers a full line of bindings and boots.
